As of the writing of this book, Dr. Mary Anne Kiel is a Colonel and Pediatrician in the United States Air Force who is board certified in both Pediatrics and Lifestyle Medicine.  She is stationed at the Defense Health Headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia, where she leads the Air Force Medical Home program and the Air Force Lifestyle & Performance Medicine Working Group.  She and her husband lead a plant-based lifestyle and enjoy capturing medals for their virtual walking challenges, playing board games, and traveling.  They are the proud parents of their 3 children and puppy dog Oscar.  Dr. Kiel is passionate about helping her family members, her patients, and active duty service members live their best lives by practicing the pillars of Lifestyle Medicine.
